Attorney Andrew FarmerAttorney Andrew Farmer

After graduating from Sevier County High School, Andrew went to East Tennessee State University where he obtained a Bachelors degree in Business Administration and Marketing.  Andrew went on to Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Mich., to obtain his Juris Doctor degree.  During his law school career, Andrew took a concentration in International Law, which afforded him the opportunity to study abroad in New Zealand and Australia. After receiving his law degree, Andrew clerked with Tennessee Supreme Court Justice Gary Wade.  Soon afterwards, he was admitted to practice law in Tennessee. His education, experience and candor reflect a high level of legal ability and expertise. He has aggressively represented clients in many areas, including personal injury, criminal defense, family law, bankruptcy and more. Attorney Farmer attacks each case uniquely as he has a keen understanding that each situation and client is different.  Mr. Farmer is admitted to practice in all Tennessee State courts and in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee and the United States Sixth Judicial Circuit Court of Appeals.  Mr. Farmer attended and graduated from the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers – Criminal Defense College in June 2009.  Attorney Farmer was elected to the Tennessee State House of Representatives in November 2012 and is currently serving his first term in the 108th General Assembly.  Mr. Farmer also serves on the Board of Directors for the Smoky Mountain Area Rescue Ministry.  In October 2012, Mr. Farmer was voted as the best attorney in Sevier County in The Mountain Press Readers Choice awards, after being voted in the top three attorney’s for the previous three years.

Mr. Farmer is married and he and his wife have two children.  Mr. Farmer enjoys fishing, camping and spending time with his family during his free time.

Attorney Michael J. GreenAttorney Michael J. Green

Michael J. Green is a proud graduate of Carson-Newman College, having graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree with Majors in both Political Science and Religion in 2005. Mr. Green lived in Oklahoma for three years while attending law school and received his Juris Doctor degree from the Oklahoma City University School of Law in 2009. After receiving his Juris Doctor degree, Mr. Green returned to Sevier County and worked as a Legal Assistant while preparing to take the Tennessee Bar Exam, and continued as an Associate Attorney for another local law office. Mr. Green has been with The Law Offices of Andrew Farmer, PLLC since June of 2011 as an Associate Attorney. Mr. Green is proud of his diverse legal knowledge and experience. Mr. Green has handled cases through all phases of civil and criminal litigation including through numerous trials before both a Jury and our Judges. Mr. Green is licensed to practice in all Tennessee State courts as well as in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee as well as the United States District Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee.  His areas of focus include Criminal Law, Chapter 7 Bankruptcy and all aspects of Family Law such as complex divorce litigation, child custody, child support, alimony/spousal support, father's rights, orders of protection and adoptions.

Mr. Green was born and raised in Sevier County, graduated from Sevier County High School, is an active member at First United Methodist Church in Sevierville and is proud to be able to serve his fellow East Tennessee residents with their legal needs. Mr. Green has been happily married to his high school sweetheart since 2003 and they are the proud parents of a wonderful son.

Attorney Will PerkinsAttorney Will Perkins

Will Perkins is a native of East Tennessee and Sevier County. He graduated from Sevier County High School and then attended East Tennessee State University where he graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Marketing and Management. After graduation, Will worked the next five years for various marketing and promotion companies throughout the country representing many well-known brands. Will has also worked in both the insurance and real estate markets here in Tennessee, having been licensed in both fields. Deciding to follow his ambition of a legal career, Will attended law school at the University of Memphis. During the summer months he worked as a legal clerk at The Law Offices of Andrew Farmer, and has worked with the office since his graduation from law school in May, 2012. Mr. Perkins is admitted to practice law in the State of Tennessee and serves his clients in the areas of criminal defense, divorce and family law, personal injury, as well as traffic violations.

Will resides in Sevierville and enjoys all aspects of the outdoors including, hiking, backpacking, fishing, skiing, and Tennessee sports.

Alexis Ogle, Legal Assistant/ Private InvestigatorAlexis Ogle, Legal Assistant/ Private Investigator

Alexis was born and raised in Sevier County, Tenn. She graduated from Sevier County High School and attended Tennessee Technology Center. She has recently received her Private Investigator License through the State of Tennessee Private Investigation and Polygraph Commission to further advance her skills within criminal defense. Alexis enjoys helping individuals find the truth about their situations whether it be criminal or civil law. She has strong ambitions to work towards a degree in criminal justice within the next few years. She has worked as a Legal Secretary for The Law Offices of Andrew Farmer, PLLC since October of 2010 and has become very proficient with evaluating and managing workers’ compensation and personal injury cases.

Alexis resides in Sevier County with her husband and children. She enjoys spending time with her family on Douglas lake and target shooting at the Outdoor Sportsmens Club.

Elizabeth Brady, ParalegalElizabeth Brady, Paralegal

Elizabeth “Beth” Brady was born and raised in Kentucky where she met her husband of 19 years at Cumberland College, now University of the Cumberlands.  Beth received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting in 1995.  Following graduation, Beth worked for Marriott in several accounting and management capacities.  Following her husband’s graduation from seminary in New Jersey, Beth returned to the south to work for DeRoyal Industries as a corporate accountant.  After the birth of her third child, Beth decided to take a job as an elementary school teacher at a private Christian school in Sevierville in order to be closer and more available to her children.  In 2006, Beth took employment as a receptionist and assistant to a local attorney in Sevierville.  Her love for the law grew deeper as she excelled in the area of family law.  In 2009, she applied and was accepted to Lincoln Memorial University’s Duncan School of Law where her anticipated graduation is May 2013.  Beth has been with the Law Offices of Andrew E. Farmer, PLLC since June of 2012.   Beth is particularly interested in the areas of family and juvenile law and helping clients and attorneys reach resolutions that will effectively serve the client for many years in the future.

Beth is the mother of four school age children, and wife to a United Methodist Minister.  When not working or going to school, Beth enjoys spending time with her children, reading, and participating in church activities.

Marie T. Jackson, Paralegal/Office ManagerMarie T. Jackson, Paralegal/Office Manager

Marie moved to Sevierville nine years ago from Florida to raise her family and change career directions.  Marie attended Walters State Community College and graduated Summa Cum Laude in December 2006 with an Associates of Applied Science degree in Paralegal Studies.  Marie went on to attend Tusculum College where she obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Organizational Management in December 2008.  She has been a paralegal in Sevierville for six years and has assisted attorney’s through every phase of a case, including trials in criminal, civil and family law cases.  Marie has been working with Andrew since July 2009 and helps with research, document drafting, scheduling, client relations and office management.  Prior to moving to Tennessee, Marie lived in Florida and worked as a systems engineer in the technology and electronic document management system industry.

Marie is the mother of two children.  When not working, she enjoys scrapbooking, reading and spending time with her children.
